Living in Central Texas can be a busy affair and we want to make sure that your pets are cared for when you can't be home.
Busy pet parents have few choices concerning the care of their animals while they are away. Boarding is not suitable for every pet and you may not want to impose on friends and neighbors.

Got Paws? Pet Care, LLC can assist you in all of your pet care needs; daily dog walks, cat visits, early/late night walks and
much more. You will be confident that your pets are in caring and compassionate hands. We treat every pet as if they were
our own. With 10 years+ experience caring for a variety of
animals, we can accommodate all situations through
personalized pet care. All Got Paws? pet sitters are insured through Pet Sitter’s Associates, have pet cpr training, and have a professional background working with animals. We also focus on continual education in pet behavior, health, and safety issues. Our team will communicate with you daily through email or text using our pet care app, Time to Pet. Time to Pet is a real-time tracking app that allows you to monitor when your pet is on the move. You have the option to receive updates and photos on
how the visit is going and when your sitter arrives and leaves.

An animal lover and pet owner my whole life, I knew working with
animals was something I would excel at and take pride in if given the opportunity. Aside from my compassion for animals, I also enjoy
helping people.
I was born and raised as an Army brat and grew up
around the world.
During my down time, I enjoy weekends at
the lake, binge watching Netflix and game nights with friends.

My background includes; working for 2 professional pet sitting companies
for 1.5 years in Washington D.C. During this time I learned the behind the
scenes work of professional pet care. I worked as a vet assistant/receptionist
for 1 year, an Assistant Manager at a Stray Facility for 2 years and an Adoption
Center Manager for a local non-profit animal welfare organization for 3
years. I am a certified vet assistant, certified in pet
CPR, first aid & pet care. I have also volunteered with the ASPCA Field Investigation and Response
medical team. During my volunteer time with them, I traveled to Florida
and Ohio assisting with puppy mill, dog fighting, and hoarding cases.

I retired from the Army after 25 years of service in 2010. I earned a BS in
Animal Science and a MS in Microbiology during my Active duty time.
I have 3 dogs and 2 cats who allow me to live with them. After my retirement from the military, I worked for a few different government organizations in Washington D.C. Over the years I realized the hustle and bustle of the big city life just wasn't for me. My daughter, Jenna and I always talked about opening a business together since she was a little
girl, so here we are. I enjoy being able to spend time with my family, work with animals and be semi-retired. I always joked over the years that
I didn't know what I wanted to be when I grew up, but I'm glad I finally figured it out... a business owner with my daughter and son-in-law.
Faith, love and determination rules!

I grew up around the world and was lucky enough to experience a wide variety of different cultures. Right out of high school I made my first
attempt at
college, but wasn't interested in sitting in class or doing
homework, i
nstead I joined the Army. It was a phenomenal opportunity
for my wife and I and taught me a valuable skill. I separated from Active Duty Army and transitioned to the Texas National Guard in 2017 after 8 years of service. It was a
much-needed change, I realized that after those years I needed more stability and time at home. This afforded me the chance to
have a regular schedule and to spend more time with my wife and 5 furry kids (2 dogs, 3 cats). My wife, Jenna and I decided to settle down in the
Killeen area, which gave us the opportunity to fulfill her longtime dream
of becoming a small business owner. Jenna has been the visionary of this company from the very beginning and I’m lucky she took me along to
handle administrative and technical sides of the business. While I mainly
make sure the
behind the scenes of the business are running smoothly,
I also help with the "wet" pets. I have a passion for salt water tanks
and can handle the maintenance and cleaning of salt or fresh water
tanks while you're away. This company has been a dream of ours for
several years now and it’s exciting for it to finally be a reality!

I was raised in Killeen after my dad retired from the Army when I was a kid.
I have always had a love for animals, but my knowledge for companion animals really grew when I started volunteering at a local animal shelter. With over 1,300+ animal volunteer hours under my belt, I am excited to be working for a company that is constantly teaching me new and exciting  things. I have 3 dogs at home and I love taking care of animals. I am studying to become a vet tech and my dream is to become a Veterinarian.
